INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Sterling Built is looking for motivated individuals interested in learning the craft of high-end custom home framing.

Our paid framing internship offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled framing professionals on some of Arizona's most distinctive custom homes. Interns learn more than how to build walls—they gain exposure to architectural plans, structural engineering, precision layout, complex framing details, problem-solving, and the craftsmanship required in luxury residential construction.

Previous framing experience is not required.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Custom-home framing techniques
Architectural and structural plan reading
Layout and measuring
Wall framing and sheathing
Headers, beams, blocking, and structural hardware
Window and door rough openings
Engineered framing systems
Complex architectural framing details
Jobsite safety
Quality control
Construction problem-solving

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

18 years of age or older
Strong work ethic
Dependable and punctual
Willingness to learn
Comfortable working outdoors
Ability to perform physical construction work
Attention to detail
Ability to follow instruction and work as part of a team

Construction, carpentry, woodworking, shop, or CTE experience is helpful, but not required.
